Box 181 Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 The Gregg Williams Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization to provide support and funding to local schools programs for kids in the Excelsior Springs area and funding to improve the Excelsior Springs community. The foundation is named for Gregg Williams, a 1976 Excelsior Springs High School graduate who was a record-breaking Tiger athlete in basketball, baseball and football, a former ESSD coach and teacher, a 2006 Excelsior Springs Hall of Fame inductee. The Tiger Classic Golf Tournament is held in Excelsior Springs during July, as well as annual Gregg Williams Football Coaching Clinics, Hall of Fame Induction and Calcutta Auction. In 1951 the Missouri High School Athletic Association banned post-season play that wasn't sanctioned by their organization. In the fall of 1954, the Mineral Water Bowl returned as a small college game. Today NCAA Division II teams compete for the prestigious trophy. Mineral Water Bowl is presented by the Excelsior Springs Quarterback Club played for the benefit of local high-school and youth activities programs in the area. Waterfest Celebration P.O.
